People use apple cider vinegar because of its taste. Add this to different foods. In traditional medicine, it is used as a cure for different diseases.
Apple cider vinegar is effective when it comes to lowering your blood sugar. The director of Arizona State University Carol Johnston, Ph.D., says that it stops the digestion of starch, which is something that can raise blood sugar.
She says the anti-glycemic effect has an excellent record. Even though it does not block starch completely it can still prevent the digestion of a portion of the starch and this will not cause the blood sugar level to rise.
Some people buy this vinegar at commercial levels of different health food stores or grocery stores, but what they do not know is that it is very easy to make it yourself. Here’s how to make your own apple cider vinegar.
You will need to:
-6 to 8 apples, with shell and core
-2 tbsp. of honey
-water to wash the ingredients
- Take a glass jar and place the cores and shells of the apples.
Pour enough water into the jar to submerge the ingredients.
Add the honey and mix well until the honey dissolves.
“Take a paper towel and put it in the jar.”
“Now seal the jar.”
The mixture has to stand for 2 weeks. Then you need to pour the liquid and then pour the liquid back into the bottle. The mixture must stand for four weeks. You have to stir the mixture every day.
