Combat Flaccidity And Wrinkles With Cucumber Gel And Aloe Vera

The aging of the skin is a natural process that takes place as the years pass and at a certain stage of our life.

However, the current lifestyle has caused this process to occur quickly, causing the skin to lose its firmness ahead of time and begin to suffer from premature wrinkles.

Fortunately, in response to all factors that can affect skin health, great discoveries have been made of ingredients that can be used as a treatment to reduce its impact and stimulate its cellular regeneration.

Two of those good ingredients that have incredible skin properties are cucumber and aloe vera. Both are being used in the cosmetic industry as active compounds of the products to nourish, reaffirm and rejuvenate.

However, it is not necessary to invest large sums of money in expensive treatments to take advantage of the benefits of these two skin allies. This time we will share a very special recipe to make a homemade anti-wrinkle and firming gel.

What are the benefits of cucumber for the skin?

Cucumber is a vegetable composed of up to 97% water and many nutrients that benefit the health of the body and, of course, the skin.

For many years this ingredient has been used in many beauty routines for its toning and repairing properties that help treat problems such as bags and dark circles.

The high content of water added to its contribution of vitamin E causes this ingredient to repair, hydrate and protect the skin cells.

On the other hand, it contains antioxidant compounds that help to curb the action of free radicals that affect the skin and can cause premature aging by reducing the production of collagen and elastin.

It also has a high astringent power that helps to clean in depth, while helping to control excess sebum and problems like acne.

What are the benefits of aloe vera for the skin?

Aloe vera, also known as aloe, is a plant highly valued in the beauty industry due to the high content of nutrients and properties it brings to the skin.

One of its main benefits is its astringent effect, which cleanses the skin from its deeper layers, favoring the elimination of all dirt and avoiding the clogging of the pores.

It is also a powerful natural moisturizer that contributes to maintain the elasticity of the skin, while providing moisturizing and prevents dryness.

As for the prevention of premature aging, it emphasizes its ability to regenerate the skin tissues, stimulating and strengthening the fibers of collagen and elastin, which in turn helps prevent and attenuate wrinkles.

In addition to all this, it has an antibacterial action that helps to treat and eliminate acne, reducing the annoying granites and avoiding the scars that usually remain when this problem occurs in a chronic form.

How to prepare cucumber gel and aloe vera?
